1. Who we are

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use Vihar Tours, we may collect:

  • Mobile number for OTP login, account identification, WhatsApp updates, and Travel Agent access.
  • Name and email address if you provide them for booking, account, support, or Travel Agent records.
  • Booking and payment records such as campaign entries, package or hotel enquiries, payment status, transaction reference, wallet balance, rewards, and payout records.
  • Travel Agent activity such as poster share actions, copied links, short-link opens, customer enquiry requests, earnings, payout requests, alerts, and app login sessions.
  • Device and session data such as IP address, browser or app session tokens, and security logs used for login security, fraud prevention, and service reliability.
  • Address or trip details only when needed for prize delivery, tour operation, hotel booking, pickup, or travel documentation.
3. Vihar Agent Android app

The Vihar Agent Android app is for registered Travel Agents. The app uses your mobile number or email and password to sign in, then connects to vihartours.co.in to show posters, enquiries, earnings, payout status, notifications, and account details.

When you share a WhatsApp Status poster, the app can create a 1080x1920 poster image in the app cache with the selected travel offer, QR code, and short link. This is created only for sharing.

The app does not access contacts, precise location, camera, microphone, SMS, photo library, or advertising identifier. The app does not show third-party ads and we do not sell personal data.

4. How we use information
  • To create accounts and support OTP, password, and app login.
  • To process bookings, enquiries, payments, rewards, commissions, and payouts.
  • To send operational WhatsApp messages such as OTPs, booking confirmations, tour updates, result updates, enquiry updates, and payout updates.
  • To show Travel Agent posters, share reports, enquiries, earnings, payout status, and notifications in the Android app.
  • To prevent fraud, duplicate entries, spam leads, unauthorised access, and platform abuse.
  • To meet legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations.

We do not use your data for targeted advertising and we do not sell your data.

5. WhatsApp communication

We use WhatsApp Business messaging for OTPs and service notifications. These messages may include booking confirmation, tour details, customer enquiry updates, result updates, earnings updates, and payout updates.

WhatsApp delivery may be processed through our WhatsApp Business API provider. Your phone number is shared only as needed to deliver these messages.

6. Payment data
Online payments are processed through third-party payment gateways such as Razorpay, PhonePe, or Cashfree depending on the booking flow. Vihar Tours does not store your full card number, CVV, net banking password, or UPI PIN. We store payment reference, amount, and status for booking records and audit.
7. Data sharing

We share data only when needed to operate Vihar Tours:

  • Payment gateway providers for payment processing.
  • WhatsApp Business messaging providers for OTP and service messages.
  • Tour, hotel, vehicle, or logistics partners for the specific trip or enquiry you request.
  • Legal authorities when required by law, court order, or to protect rights and safety.
8. Data retention
We keep account, booking, payment, reward, commission, and payout records as long as needed for service operation, legal compliance, tax, accounting, dispute resolution, and fraud prevention. Financial records may be retained for up to 7 years. Session and OTP records are retained for shorter security and audit periods.
9. Your rights

You may contact us to request access, correction, account deletion, or communication preference updates. Some records may need to be retained where required for legal, tax, accounting, fraud prevention, or dispute purposes.

10. Security
We use HTTPS, password hashing, OTP hashing, session controls, API tokens, CSRF protection, and access controls to protect data. No system is completely risk-free, so please contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
11. Cookies, tokens, and attribution
On the website, we use session cookies for login and attribution cookies to remember a Travel Agent or referral source for up to 30 days. In the Android app, an access token is stored on the device so the app can stay signed in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest update. Continued use of Vihar Tours after updates means you accept the revised policy.
